Artwork guidelines.

Best: vector. AI, EPS, or PDF with all fonts outlined and no linked images. Vector scales to any size without losing quality. This is what we want.

Acceptable: high-resolution raster. PNG, PSD, or TIFF at 300 DPI at final print size. JPEG works but isn't preferred, since compression can cause issues at print.

Not usable for production. Files pulled off websites or social media, low-res exports, screenshots, or anything sized for screen (72 to 96 DPI). These won't print cleanly.

Set your file at the actual size you want it printed, at 300 DPI minimum. A file that's 2 inches wide at 300 DPI can't be blown up to a 12 inch print. Not sure of your dimensions? Tell us the garment and placement (full front, left chest, and so on) and we'll advise on standard sizes.

Screen printing uses spot colors. Each color is a separate screen and a separate ink.

• Set your colors in the file. Skip gradients and effects unless you're intentionally printing a halftone or simulated-process job.
• Each color is one screen, one ink, one price tier. Fewer colors, lower cost.
• Include Pantone coated (C) references if color accuracy is critical, and tell us it matters.
• Black on black doesn't show. If the garment and the art are both black, it won't read.

Outline your fonts before sending. If we don't have the font, live type will shift or drop. In Illustrator: Type, then Create Outlines. In Photoshop: rasterize or flatten type layers. Label your layers if you're sending a layered file.

• Files exported from websites or social media
• Anything built at 72 DPI for screen use
• Live (un-outlined) fonts in AI or EPS files
• Unintentional white backgrounds treated as print elements
• Very fine lines or tiny text that won't hold at print size
• Scanned or photographed art with no cleanup (send it anyway, we'll tell you what we can do)

Send files through the quote form or straight to info@moshprint.com. For anything over 25MB, use Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer and drop the link in your message. Include:

• File(s) at final size
• Print location(s)
• Ink colors or Pantone references if you have them
• Garment style and color if you've picked one
